Last Saturday night was "Nuit Blanche" in Paris, which means to stay up all night. There were free art exhibits around the city open until 7am. I liked Michelangelo Pistoletto "aimer les differences" where love differences in at least 18 languages lit up the Hotel de Ville and the ghostly flags of "Apolitico" by Wilfredo Prieto at Trocadero.
Even though 90's minimalism is marching along the catwalks, it seems that its invading stores, films and even TV these days... with a mix of the 70's and I must say I like it!
p.s. If you haven't seen 'The Runaways' you are missing out! I was really impressed with both Dakota Fanning and Kirsten Stewart (who was made to play Joan Jett). FYI : Set in the 70's, the film tells the story of the first all-girl rock band in a male dominated industry.
