As I am writing this, the sidewalks, cars, trees and rooftops in Paris are covered in snow. It is beautiful to see but sooooo cold! I feel like going into hibernation! Back in Australia I thought it was cold when it was 14 degrees C - was I wrong. I don't seem to own clothes warm enough to deal with this cold weather. I have been trying layering ..but I am still cold! The other day the maximum temperature was -2 C. I made some chocolate mousse (of which I am now the master I must say) and put it on the outside windowsill to set, figuring it would be quicker than the fridge! Later that day the snowstorm of all snowstorms began and I relished the fact that while many Parisiens were stuck in the snow, I was sitting in my warm apartment drinking a latte with a side of chocolate mousse watching the most beautiful snowstorm :-)
